[Finished] Written in the stars (BTS)
  • Taehyung
  • Today marked the third day since Namjoon, Hoseok, Yoongi and Jin went to town. That meant they should be returning tonight and I could not be more excited to see them again. I always hated being separated from any of them but what I hated the most was not knowing if they were okay or not.
  • Jungkook and I had managed to hunt for some food and we did manage to catch some wild rabbits. Jimin managed to actually collect a good number of berries and some fruits, nuts and even caught a couple of fish. We even managed to catch a few birds which we could eat. Everything was stored away safely in our little space.
  • I looked at Jimin who was picking berries while I stood looking for any wild animal we could catch. Yet, my eyes got distracted while looking at Jimin who was happily picking the berries while humming and smiling. I could not help but smile as well as I felt my heart swell with love for him and the rest of our family.
  • He seemed to feel me looking as he turned to look at me and offered me one of his famous eye smiles. I loved it when he did that – when he smiled so genuinely that his eyes became crescents, making his eyes disappear.
  • ‘You okay?’ he asked as I approached him. I nodded as he enclosed the space between us. ‘Open up,; he said as I laughed and opened my mouth. He put in a berry which I munched on.
  • ‘It’s sweet,’ I said, licking my lips while he looked at me. ‘You’ve been working really hard Chim. You should be proud of yourself Chim,’ I said.
  • ‘Thanks Tae. I just want to feel like I’m actually doing something useful,’ he said with a sigh. I grabbed his hand and squeezed.
  • ‘What are you talking about Chim? You know how much we love you and appreciate you. You do a lot of things too,’ I said but he shook his head.
  • ‘The others are out there working for us and you and Jungkook are doing the dangerous hunting while I’m here picking berries,’ he said, raising his eyebrow.
  • ‘Yeah, so? We love those berries just like we love you. Thanks to you we get to end our meals with a delicious taste,’ I said as I leaned closer and pecked his lips.
  • He smiled into the peck as he quickly went to his tip toes to hug around my neck. He gave me a quick peck before he simply hugged me, causing me to chuckle.
  • ‘I don’t know how I got so lucky to have you and the others as my soulmates,’ he mumbled, causing me to squeeze him tighter to me.
  • ‘We’re just as lucky to have you. I just can’t wait until we meet the last one,’ I said and he nodded as he pulled away to look at me.
  • ‘How do you think he or she will be? I can’t help but be excited about what they’re like but also a little scared,’ he admitted.
  • ‘Yeah me too and honestly I don’t know. I just have a feeling they’ll be very different. I don’t know why but I have a gut feeling she’ll be female too,’ I said which caused him to smile.
  • ‘Maybe then I’d have someone I can spoon,’ he said, causing me to smile and nod.
  • ‘I bet you would love that huh?’ I asked to which he nodded. Of course he would. He’s the smallest one of us so most of the time, he always ends up being the cuddled. ‘Shall we go find Jungkook? It’s been a good hour since he went in the other direction and I don’t really like being separated like this,’ I said to which Jimin instantly nodded.
  • ‘Yeah. You read my mind honestly,’ Jimin said as we both turned on our heels to look for Jungkook. We both knew how stubborn the maknae could be. He would risk getting injured if it meant getting food for all of us.
  • We walked in silence until my ears seemed to pick on a noise, causing me to stop. ‘Tae? What’s wrong?’ Jimin whispered as I signalled him to be silent. He gulped and nodded, clearly getting worried.
  • I moved as I put Jimin behind me. I could hear his heart race in worry. I could hear footsteps and from the scent I was smelling, I could tell there were humans.
  • ‘Stay behind me,’ I whispered to Jimin who nodded. Suddenly, five males and another female stepped out from behind trees, surrounding us in a circle.
  • ‘Well, well, well what do we have here?’ one of the males asked as he took a step forward. I growled to which he smirked while he pointed his gun at me. ‘I wouldn’t if I were you!’ he warned me.
  • ‘What do you want from us?’ I said, another growl leaving my throat. He laughed as the others also pointed their guns at us.
  • ‘You’re werewolves and we’re Winchester Hunters. Do the maths,’ he said. I studied him – he was clearly the leader. He was tall and muscular, definitely someone who trained. He had tattoos on his neck and forearm. He was carrying a silver gun which I knew held silver bullets in it.
  • ‘Awh babe, seems like the wolves lost their ability to speak,’ the red-headed female said as she took a step forward, next to her lover. She was twirling a silver dagger in her hand as she smirked.
  • ‘We haven’t hurt anyone. Leave us alone,’ I said with another growl.
  • ‘I can tell that one is a weak Omega but I can’t quite make out what this one is. Do you think he’s an Alpha?’ one of the other males spoke as he laughed.
  • ‘Well that would make him a worthy kill!’ the one who I assumed was the boss said.
  • ‘LEAVE HIM ALONE!’ Jimin yelled, the thought of me getting hurt making him forget that he could not fight them.
  • ‘Awh the pup does have a voice after all,’ another one said as they seemed to get even closer. I growled loudly as I cracked my neck.
  • ‘Time to say goodbye wolfie,’ the leader said as he went to aim his gun. I growled as I jumped and changed mid-air. I charged at him as I saw Jimin change as well as he tried to also fight.
  • I pinned the leader on the ground as I used my paw to claw at his chest. The man screamed and then I heard a gun go off. I turned around as I saw one of the males aiming at Jimin who was fighting the woman.
  • NO! I mentally shouted as I jumped in front of Jimin. Another shot echoed just as I felt the bullet pierce through my stomach. I fell with a thud on the hard ground. I whined in pain as the silver bullet began to burn. It felt like hot fire burning right through my veins.
  • NO!! TAEHYUNG! Jimin yelled into the mind link as he hurried next to me. He looked at me with wide eyes which were glazed over with tears. He nuzzled me with his nose while the hunters approached us.
  • The leader was still alive as he held onto his chest. The woman remained dead on the ground but the others were alive. ‘You!! You killed my wife!!’ he yelled as he raised his gun, aiming it at Jimin.
  • No… please! I mentally begged, even if they could not hear me. Jimin whimpered but he stood in front of me, not wavering. He was trying to protect me.
  • ‘ENOUGH!’ a woman yelled as she came out from behind the trees. Everyone turned to look at her and I could not help but notice how beautiful she looked in a simple white dress. She looked stunning, ethereal almost but there was an angry look in her eyes.
  • ‘Mark careful, she’s a witch!’ one of the men yelled as he went to raise his gun. I shook my head wanting to protect her but I could feel myself starting to change back into my human form.
  • ‘Pathetic hunters,’ she said as she raised her hand in the air. Suddenly, all five of them were cut off the ground. She moved her hand swiftly as they yelled. Before I knew it, she had them flying in different directions, sending them crashing against the trees.
  • I looked on but they were all knocked out. She raised her hand and the earth seemed to just listen to her command. Twigs and vines lifted off as they tied around the hunters, making sure they could not follow. She raised her hand once more and the weapons all seemed to come flying in her direction. Without lifting a hand, she had them in a pile. She snapped her finger and a ball of fire appeared in her palm. She smiled as she threw the fire at the pile of weapons, setting them on fire.
  • I continued to look at her in awe until the pain started to become unbearable. I felt hands touching my face, causing me to look up and see Jimin who was crying. ‘Shh don’t cry love,’ I said, reaching for his face to wipe away his tears. He sniffed as he gasped for air.
  • ‘You’re hurt because of me,’ he said just as the woman approached us. She kneeled down and went to speak but grimaced. Her hand flew to her forearm as she quickly squeezed her eyes in pain.
  • ‘Are you okay?’ I asked until I felt a burning on my own hand. Jimin winced as well as the three of us looked at our forearms where the tattoo was. I saw it glowing as the part of our last soulmate started filling up with colour. The four symbols start to fill with colour - beautiful shades of blue, brown, red and orange.
  • I let out a gasp as I looked at her. Jimin followed my gaze as he smiled slightly. Both of us had tears in our eyes. ‘You’re… you’re our last soulmate,’ Jimin whispered as she smiled.
  • ‘I finally found you,’ she whispered back as she touched her tattoo. I went to reach over to her but gasped in pain. ‘Damn it,’ she said as she leaned closer. ‘Listen to me, I’m a healer. I can fix this but I need to take the bullet out first. My house isn’t far. Do you think you can manage a bit?’ she asked.
  • ‘I can but Jungkook,’ I said as I looked at Jimin who bit his lip, looking torn. She looked at us, seemingly confused. Of course, she did not know about him or the others.
  • ‘I know but he… he can track us, but you need help Tae,’ Jimin said as I nodded. Jimin stood up as he helped me to also stand up. I groaned in pain and I heard Jimin sniff one more time.
  • ‘Stop crying. You heard her, she can fix me,’ I said as I looked back at the woman – our final soulmate. She gave me a reassuring nod before she came on my other side and helped to carry me.
